There are no special requirements on the bedrock for this kind of drainage solution by gravel stuffing. The actual thickness of the shotcrete, which is necessary for the excavation lining, can be reduced to a minimum and depends only on the static condition of the rock.
Enlarging the drainage excavation by a coefficient of 15 to 20, the permanent drainage without pressure is guaranteed, even in case of extreme sintering (clogging of the drainage). This will explicitly enhance the serviceability of the tunnel constructions.
